Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification is required.
• Proven success as a CVOR Tech with extensive cardiovascular OR experience.
• Strong ability to function independently in a fast-paced OR environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams during open heart and vascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting surgical excellence.
• Provide expert knowledge of CVOR equipment and maintain a sterile field at all times.
• Anticipate needs of surgeons and proactively manage instruments and supplies during complex cases.
• Accurately prepare, handle, and account for all instrumentation before, during, and following surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing staff to deliver optimal care and positive outcomes.
