Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a CVOR Tech to support cardiovascular operating room procedures in a hospital setting. This contract opportunity requires detail orientation and adaptability as you collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role features 8-hour day shifts, Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with responsibilities including instrument preparation, assisting during procedures, sterile field maintenance, and documenting case progress.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a CVOR Tech in a high-acuity surgical environment.
• Proficiency in handling and maintaining cardiovascular surgical instruments and supplies.
• Current certification (such as CVOR Tech or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of sterile field standards and surgical protocols.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons during cardiovascular procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced settings.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and verify cardiovascular surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff in complex procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor the sterile field and provide necessary supplies and instruments.
• Diligently document case progress and maintain records in accordance with healthcare standards.
• Support the safe and efficient turnover of operating rooms between procedures.
• Routinely collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold quality and safety measures.
