Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room on a day-shift in Hickory, NC. This 13-week contract role requires helping the surgical team and maintaining sterile field during procedures.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of surgical technology experience, a Surgical Technology diploma or certification, and, ideally, exposure to multiple specialties. Call on weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in surgical technology.
• Surgical Technology diploma or certification is required; preferred Ortho or Neuro specialty certifications.
• Exposure to multiple specialties preferred.

Schedule/Shift

4 ten-hour shifts per week, from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM. Call required on weekends, 7 days per month (including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will work in the Operating Room at Frye Regional Medical Center. The focus will be on assisting in surgical procedures and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
