Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist at Memorial Hermann Northeast (Humble) to assist in perioperative care. The role is full-time, hours 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements.

CST and BLS are required, and candidates with 1+ year CV (open heart) experience are preferred. The technologist will act as a scrub partner to the physician, prepare instruments, maintain asepsis, and support patient safety in the OR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program.
• Certified in Basic Life Support and current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the NBSTSA or NCCT.
• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: New Grad <1 year; Surg Tech I =1 year; Surg Tech II = 2-4 years; Surg Tech III = 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of perioperative patient care concepts and can function as first scrub in assigned specialty areas.
• Ensures readiness and flow of cases to support department efficiency.
• Verifies supplies and equipment prior to procedures and maintains aseptic technique.
