Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist to join a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room team in Terre Haute, IN. This is a full-time, staff position offering comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly rate with a $10/hour CST II differential.

Responsibilities include scrubbing independently for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating with surgeons and perioperative teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Active CST certification (NBSTSA) is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years CVOR or cardiac surgical experience.
• Ability to scrub cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases independently.

Responsibilities

• Scrub independently for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field and CVOR equipment.
• Assist with room setup, instrument sterilization and turnover.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic technique.
• Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia, and perfusion teams.
