Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a CVOR CST II Surgical Technologist for Terre Haute, IN. Full-time staff role supporting a high-acuity cardiovascular OR team, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour day shift options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Active CST certification (NBSTSA).
• BLS (AHA).
• 2+ years of CVOR or cardiac surgical experience.
• Ability to scrub cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases independently.

Responsibilities

• Scrub independently for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field and CVOR-specific equipment.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently during procedures.
• Assist with room setup, instrument sterilization, and turnover.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards.
• Handle specimens and support accurate documentation.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia, and perfusion teams.
