Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience for a Level 1 Trauma hospital position. Open heart, endovascular, and complex cardiovascular procedures are the focus across a large surgical campus.

The role requires active CST and BLS certifications, 2+ years CVOR/open heart experience, and a Texas-licensed or eligible candidate. Local candidates are preferred for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years of open heart, cardiovascular, endovascular, dissection experience.
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience within the last 6 months.
• Level 1 Trauma experience required.
• Active CST certification required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support a 29-OR surgical suite across two buildings.
• Operate with Da Vinci Xi, Endovascular, Cardiothoracic, BrainSuite, Trauma and Cystoscopy ORs.
• Handle 30-40 total surgical cases per day.
• Perform surgical technologist duties in high-acuity cardiovascular and trauma cases.
• Assist with open heart surgeries, endovascular interventions and Impella placements.
• Assist with aortic dissection repairs and related cardiothoracic procedures.
• Local candidates accepted for on-site work.
