Qualifications

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• One year of experience as a CVOR Surgical Technician is required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technician is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs scrub duties throughout the surgical procedure as part of the surgical team under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Assists the nurse specialty leader in maintaining surgeon preferences for listed surgical procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of new procedures and equipment associated with the specialty and assists other team members as needed.
• Leadership role requires ongoing competency review and development of new competencies as technology changes.
• Collaborates with the RN and scrub tech team to achieve excellence in patient care and physician satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
