Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support, influencing patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN performs in a versatile role, demonstrating professionalism and promoting excellence and autonomy in nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based principles, the RN manages a diverse caseload within the department’s scope of service. The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry, collaborating with the inter-professional team and ensuring compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and regulatory standards.
