Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN - OR Team Lead at Baptist Medical Center South to facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate CVOR patient care, serving as a clinical leader for the service line and aligning with nursing leadership and hospital policies.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; active RN license with BLS required and CNOR within 1 year; experience in progressive surgery and strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years progressive surgery experience preferred.
• Evidence of commitment to continuing education.
• Active RN license required; BLS required; CNOR required within 1 year of hire.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge and familiarity with relevant computer software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities for quality patient care.
• Serve as clinical leader and facilitator for the CVOR service line.
• Provide direction in nursing process, quality improvement standards, and hospital goals.
• Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.
