Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks a CVOR Registered Nurse PRN to join its busy CVOR. The role offers PRN scheduling with 2-6 shifts per pay period and weekend/holiday on-call in one of the Southeast's busiest operating rooms.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year CVOR nursing experience, an Associate Degree in Nursing, NC RN license, and BLS/ACLS; a Masters or National Certification is preferred. This is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: 1+ years CVOR nursing experience
• Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing
• Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty
• Required License: NC Board of Nursing license; eNLC may apply
• Required Certification: BLS and ACLS

Responsibilities

• PRN scheduling: 2-6 shifts per pay period; bi-weekly on-call weekends/holidays
• Support a fast-paced CVOR with multiple surgeons and complex cases
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency
• On-call coverage during select non-business hours
