Job summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse PRN to join a high-volume cardiovascular operating room team. The position offers self-scheduling, collaboration with a multidisciplinary staff, and on-call coverage for select hours, including weekends and holidays.

Ambulatory and inpatient CVOR procedures are performed in a six-room suite with complex cases. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year CVOR nursing experience, an AND/RN license in North Carolina, and BLS/ACLS certification;

Qualifications

• Required Experience: 1+ years of CVOR nursing experience
• Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Master's in Nursing
• Required License: North Carolina RN license (eNLC may apply) and BLS/ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance for predictability
• Rounding with unit leaders to provide input on patient care and workflow
• On-call during select non-business hours
• Support open heart and thoracic procedures in a high-volume CVOR
