You will evaluate patients before surgery, assist with preoperative preparations, and ensure safety through site verification and adherence to universal protocols.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN—Registered Nurse credential.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide education to patients and families about procedures.
• Prepare patients, including IV therapy and preoperative meds, and perform site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with evidence-based practices.
