Job summary

East Jefferson General Hospital, part of LCMC Health, seeks an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join a high‑ acuity cardiovascular operating room team in Louisiana. You will circulator for cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant cases, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow from arrival to procedure completion.

The ideal candidate has OR circulator experience, 2+ years in the OR, and a nursing graduate with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum two years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• Cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, or transplant OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as the circulator for diverse complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusionists and perioperative team.
• Support patient safety and sterile environment throughout surgery.
• Participate in advanced surgical procedures including open heart and heart-lung transplant.
