Job summary

Mercy’s CVOR team is seeking a dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift with call requirements at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center. The unit supports Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular lab.

You’ll be oriented in both circulating and scrub roles and participate in open heart, vascular, and minimally invasive procedures as part of a collaborative, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Strongly prefer one year of RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current Missouri RN license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Training in circulating and scrub roles within the CVOR.
