Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Level One OR department. The CVOR team handles vascular and cardiac cases, including endovascular, TAVR, off-pump CABG, valve replacement, and AAA.

This evening-shift position (1:00 pm–9:30 pm) collaborates with anesthesia and surgeons in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Our unit features multiple service lines, 33 operating rooms and two lithotomy suites, with a culture that promotes teaching

Qualifications

• RN accreditation and nursing major are required.
• 2 years of OR experience required.
• Experience in CVOR is highly preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced OR environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in the intraoperative phase.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgeons to ensure safe passage through surgery.
• Maintain standards of care and documentation according to Texas Nursing Practice Act.
• Support teaching and growth of junior staff and new team members.
