Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, part of IntermountainHealth, seeks a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN to join our surgical services team in Grand Junction, CO. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

You will work in a 40-hour week with 10-hour shifts, including some nights, weekends, and holidays, and benefit from enhanced education reimbursement and a strong wellness program.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license (or compact license).
• BLS certification (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit).
• Minimum 1 year Cardiothoracic nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess a patient’s medical status on admission.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the patient’s best interest in mind.
• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
