Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking a CVOR - Registered Nurse in Fountain Valley, CA, to join the Cardiac Surgery team. The role focuses on directing patient care in the OR with collaboration across disciplines and a commitment to safety and quality.

The RN will oversee unlicensed staff, document findings, and ensure adherence to policies, with emphasis on teaching patients and families and maintaining confidentiality. Shift: Days, Full-Time, with a sign-on bonus for external hires.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License required.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care for the OR patient.
• Lead and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Document and communicate patient information effectively.
• Provide teaching to patients and families.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
