We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for a 13-week contract in Youngstown, Ohio. Job Details

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: July 28, 2025
End Date: October 27, 2025
Shift: Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 0630-3p (8 hours) or 0630-5p (10 hours)
On Call: Approximately 10-12 call shifts over a 6-week schedule
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Job Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Ohio or covered by compact
BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required
Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience, with at least 1-2 years in general nursing
Previous travel nursing experience required
Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment
Coordinate, provide, and direct patient teaching activities
Administer medications safely and consistently
Serve as a point of contact for patient care coordination throughout hospital departments
Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate the needs of the surgical team
Provide preop, intraop, and post-op care, including assessment and discharge instructions
Anticipate scrub nurse needs and assist with sterile packs and equipment operation
