Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Wheeling, WV. You will deliver expert cardiovascular perioperative care in an acute-care setting and collaborate with a focused operating room team to support safe surgical outcomes.

• Maintain sterile environment and follow surgical safety and infection prevention standards
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during the perioperative period
• Document accurately in Allscripts and communicate patient information during handoffs
• Assist with efficient OR turnover and cardiovascular case readiness
• Support positive patient outcomes through evidence-based perioperative nursing practice

CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Wheeling, WV

Join a 13-week CVOR travel nursing assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia, and deliver expert cardiovascular perioperative care in an acute-care setting. As a CVOR Registered Nurse, you will support safe surgical outcomes while collaborating with a focused operating room team. CVOR Registered Nurse Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia
• At least 1 year of recent CVOR or cardiovascular operating room nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, surgical safety practices, and cardiovascular procedures
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Excellent communication, teamwork, organization, and clinical judgment

CVOR Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive nursing care throughout cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room, equipment, supplies, and patient for scheduled cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative team
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow surgical safety, infection prevention, and quality standards
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during the perioperative period
• Complete accurate clinical documentation in Allscripts and communicate essential patient information during handoffs
• Assist with efficient operating room turnover and maintain readiness for cardiovascular cases
• Support positive patient outcomes through compassionate, evidence-based perioperative nursing practice
