Novant Health's New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) registered nurse for the day shift. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with some call. Prior CVOR experience is required.

The role involves scrubbing and circulating for cardiac procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs, and advocating for patients throughout the perioperative journey.

Qualifications

• CVOR experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN licensure in the appropriate state is required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiac surgical procedures in a dedicated CVOR.
• Support patients through perioperative procedures and pathways.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technologists.
• Advocate for patients and ensure a smooth perioperative experience.
