Job summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse to influence patient care within a collaborative team. You will lead nursing care, oversee the nursing process, and implement prescribed interventions to support patient outcomes.

The role involves multiple shifts and on-call requirements, with a focus on professional development and multidisciplinary teamwork. Candidates must have 1+ year CVOR/OR experience, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and NC RN licensure with BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• 1+ year CVOR/OR experience required.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina (NCBON) or eNLC with confirmation.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to facilitate professional nursing care.
• Apply the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Delegate, supervise and document care and teaching for patients and family.
• Implement medically prescribed interventions.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Shifts: Several options available. 6am-4pm, 730am-530pm, 6am-2pm or 730am-330pm
• Call: 8 call shifts and one weekend every 6 weeks. Must be within 30 min. to facility if called back in.
• Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: 1+ years of CVOR/OR experience
• Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred Education: Master‘s in Nursing.
• Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty
• Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON
• Required Certification: BLS and ACLS
