Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the main OR. You will provide leadership and deliver professional nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families. Shift: 11am–9pm with call.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NC BON license in good standing; eNLC may apply.
• One year OR nursing experience required.
• Masters in Nursing preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is in the main OR at Mission Hospital, nurses are trained in all cases.

Shift: 11am-9pm with call.

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

What qualifications you will need

• Required Experience: One year of OR nursing experience
• Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing.
• Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON
• Required Certification: BLS and ACLS
• Preferred Certification: Certification in area of specialty
