Requirements include a BSN or ADN with OR experience, CA RN license, BLS certification, and CNOR or equivalent preferred. The role involves 12/36-hour shifts, on-call duty, and union coverage under CNA agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing with five years RN experience in high-acuity OR in lieu of BSN.
• Two years RN experience in a high-acuity OR (OR RN) or CVOR RN (CVOR RN position).
• Five years RN experience in ICU/ED/PACU for Transitional RN program (Main OR).
• CA RN license required (CA Board).
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interprofessional care to deliver safe, patient-centered perioperative care.
• Perform comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop perioperative care plans.
• Monitor intraoperative patient responses and intervene as needed.
• Administer moderate sedation for Endoscopy procedures.
• Document perioperative care and incidents in EMR.
