Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a peri-operative registered nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgery. You will ensure safety, document findings, and coordinate care with staff and physicians in a fast-paced operating room setting.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, RN licensure, and competency in basic surgical procedures, with CPR/ACLS certifications mandatory.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and nursing degree required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating peri-operative patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Communicates findings, documents in medical records, and manages care provided by ancillary and professional staff.
• Maintains supplies and equipment within the unit, collaborates with physicians and interdepartmental personnel, and participates in marketing operating room services.
• Provides age-specific and culturally sensitive nursing care, including pain management and abuse/neglect assessment.
• Adheres to safety and infection control policies, supporting the organization’s mission and policies.
