Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN strongly preferred.
• Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with surgeons and schedulers to plan patient care needs and ensure equipment/supplies are ready before procedures.
• Trains and mentors staff for the service and coordinates in-services for new equipment/supplies.
• Maintains physician preference cards and surgeon protocols; leads improvement projects and participates in quality initiatives.
