Job summary

Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room RN to lead the surgical environment, transitioning between scrub and circulating roles to ensure precision and safety during complex cardiovascular procedures.

You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia, monitor and manage patient care, and prepare instrumentation and technology for cases. This is a full-time day shift with call requirements and occasional night, weekend or holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• RN licensure or registered nurse certification required
• ACLS or equivalent advanced life support within 180 days of hire
• BLS within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Lead the surgical environment by seamlessly transitioning between scrub and circulating roles in cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patient safety and manage the total nursing care journey during cases
• Prepare cardiovascular instrumentation and technology for procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to maintain physiological stability
