AdventHealth StaffFlex nurses are valued team members providing perioperative support in operating rooms across our system. This role offers flexible contract assignments with possibilities to work at a single facility or float among AdventHealth hospitals in multiple states.

You will assist with pre-operative care, instrument handling, and turnover times, under BLS/ACLS/PALS guidelines. The position emphasizes mobility, travel opportunities, and potential conversion to permanent staff within

• Provides patients with supportive care during pre-operative phases.
• Collects and labels specimens obtained during surgical procedures.
• Conducts instrument counts prior to surgical procedures.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.

• Ensures the operating room is sterile.
• Monitors and tracks instrument counts throughout procedures.
• Maintains surgical instruments in an organized manner.
