Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager for the Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation. The role oversees engineering and technical services for overhaul and repair of HM&E and aviation systems on CVNs and surface ships, with a requirement to maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.

Travel up to 25% may be required. The ideal candidate will lead large teams, provide technical direction, and coordinate with ship’s force and reactor departments to ensure readiness for naval propulsion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with seven years’ experience in related engineering management field.
• Associates Degree with fourteen (14) years’ experience in related engineering management field.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance to Ship's Force on HM&E and aviation systems.
• Oversee inspections, analyses, repairs, and maintenance planning for naval propulsion and related systems.
• Liaise with ship’s reactor department prior to inspections, testing, and production work.
• Manage teams performing fault identification and on-site repairs of propulsion, electrical, and damage control equipment.
• Provide technical support for operation, overhaul, and repair of auxiliary machinery and hull/aviation systems.
• Develop FWPs and CWPs per the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual and oversee maintenance planning.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
