Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CV Invasive Specialist II in Denver to support catheterization procedures with independence and clinical judgment. You will function in a cardiovascular lab, performing a broad range of invasive diagnostic and interventional tasks under physician supervision where required.

Essential duties include procedure room preparation, hemodynamic documentation, and patient education, with duties expanding to equipment maintenance and QA.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• PALS or ACLS certification required within 3 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of CVIS I.
• Participate in procedure room preparation and post-procedure turnover.
• Document hemodynamic recordings, calculations, and interpretations.
• Provide patient education and emotional support.
• Develop knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology and treatment options.
• Understand imaging equipment operation and safety.
• May assist with medications under physician supervision where allowed by state laws.
• Document all procedures and events accurately.
• Orient and train staff and provide preceptor oversight.
