Job summary

VyTalent Solutions seeks a CVICU RN for a hospital assignment in Baltimore, MD. The traveler will provide direct care in a cardiac ICU, collaborating with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, documenting assessments in EPIC, and supporting unit coverage during weekends and holidays as required by the unit. BLS/ACLS certification and EPIC experience are essential, with 2+ years in cardiac ICU.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Cardiac ICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience using EPIC electronic health record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac intensive care setting while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and communicate promptly with the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support appropriate care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in EPIC.
• Support unit coverage expectations, including weekend and holiday needs as required by the unit.

Requirements: 2+ years of Cardiac ICU experience in a level II trauma center +BLS, +ACLS, +EPIC
