Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team on a night-shift travel assignment. The nurse will provide specialized care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, managing CVICU equipment, documenting care, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Recent CVICU experience.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel and work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
• Monitor patients closely and recognize changes in clinical condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
• Manage and monitor advanced cardiac and hemodynamic equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status.
• Promote patient safety and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection-control standards.
