Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA, seeks an experienced RN to lead the CVICU interdisciplinary team, advocate for patients and families, and coordinate high‑quality, holistic care.

You will apply the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care, ensure confidentiality, and drive quality improvements while mentoring staff and coordinating with physicians, case managers and ancillary services.

This full‑time role offers a 12‑hour shift schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in California.
• BLS and ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and professional behavior.
• Ability to work non-judgmentally and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency in the nursing process and quality-improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the interdisciplinary health care team providing holistic care and advocating for patients and families.
• Identify high‑risk patients and initiate interventions in collaboration with ancillary departments.
• Deliver patient care that respects autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Apply the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Collect and analyze clinical data to monitor quality of care and improvements.
• Collaborate to develop policies and practice guidelines to enhance care.
• Join interdisciplinary teams, share findings, and implement recommendations.
• Coordinate care plans and referrals with patients, families, and providers.
• Monitor documentation for referrals and continuity of care.
