Job summary

North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL seeks an RN for the Cardiovascular ICU on a full-time night shift. You will provide high-acuity cardiac care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree or higher in Nursing, an Alabama RN license (or eligibility), and BLS certification. Join us to advance your critical care skills and contribute to our commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure).
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan of care interventions including medication administration and treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor condition with care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
• Coordinate patient care across transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
