Job summary

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVICU for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. The position is a 36-hour-per-week, 12-hour night shift in a high-acuity CVICU unit and requires strong critical care and rapid decision-making.

Qualifications

• CVICU nursing experience is required.
• Must be able to interpret strips and manage high-acuity patients.
• Strong assessment, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide CVICU care for adult patients.
• Manage post-open heart surgical patients (CABG, valve, etc.).
• Titrate drips and respond to critical events.
• Collaborate with ICU physicians, APNs, PAs, and charge nurses.
• Follow unit protocols and ensure patient safety.
