Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Florida. The role requires ICU experience, a Florida license, and the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative team.

This full-time position involves caring for critically ill patients, including those on ventilators and various drips, with emphasis on patient advocacy and education. Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree (BSN preferred) and possess BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Acute Care ICU RN experience; 2+ years PCU RN acceptable.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate license; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• Associate Degree; BSN preferred.
• BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Care for CVICU patients, including those on ventilators and various drips.
• Support team with collaborative care and patient safety.
• Advocate for patients and families, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Provide high-focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
