Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida, is seeking an experienced RN to join the CVICU team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, design and execute care plans, administer medications, and educate families.

The role emphasizes teamwork on a high-acuity unit with 24/7 intensivist support, and offers sign-on and relocation options for eligible candidates. The position requires ACLS/BLS, RN licensure in Florida, and CVICU or cardiothoracic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Licensed RN in Florida with ACLS and BLS certification.
Experience in cardiothoracic or CVICU settings preferred.
Ability to scrub cardiothoracic procedures and work in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physical, emotional, and social domains.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and goals.
Administer meds and treatments per orders, ensuring safety and protocol adherence.
Monitor responses and adjust care plans; document progress accurately.
Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, and self-care.
Facilitate clear hand-offs during shift changes.
