Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital's CVICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide critical care for the sickest heart and vascular patients after major procedures. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced life-support and monitoring in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

RN license in Arizona
ACLS certification often required
CPR certification required
Experience in CVICU or telemetry units is preferred
BSN preferred in CVICU context

Responsibilities

Post-operative care for CVICU patients after major heart/vascular procedures
Monitor for ACS, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, arrhythmias
Utilize advanced life-support technologies (ECMO, Impella, IABP, CRRT, EKOS, TTM) when available
Perform bedside procedures such as PEG and tracheostomy placement
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-acuity care
