Overview

Permanent role for Registered Nurse CVICU for our client in Walton Bch, FL. Location: Walton Bch, FL 32547.

Position Details

• Registered Nurse CVICU - Walton Bch, FL
• Location: Walton Bch, FL 32547
• Project Duration: Full-time Permanent
• Available Shifts: Nights Only (7p-7a)
• Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr nightshift differential
• Sign on: $15k
• Relocation: Up to $5k

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Open to candidates with other RECENT (within the last 2 years) Acute Care experience; if the nurse has less than 2 years' experience, they need to have a strong background in critical care, ER, ICU, PCU, MICU, etc. If the candidate only has med/surg, psych, or low acuity experience, they will need several years. Ideal candidate is a two-year PCU nurse that's ready to grow in cardiac.
• 3+ years of RN experience with compact license — they’ll still need to apply for the FL license to move forward.
• Less than 3 years of RN experience — they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and, once they pass, we can consider (if the candidate does not have a FL RN License) with FL license.
• BLS required
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• BSN is preferred
• CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.
