Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CVICU at Advocate Christ Medical Center. This day shift, 12-hour schedule provides opportunities to lead clinical teams and coordinate patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities include nursing process delivery, care planning, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure safe, efficient patient flow. Requires RN licensure and ongoing professional development in critical care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or health-related field. Associate degree with BSN in progress within 2 years of hire and BSN within 5 years.
• Typically requires 3 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources to support procedures and patient flow in the department.
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, quality care.
• Promote communication among patients, families, hospital departments and staff.
