Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center, a 443-bed acute care hospital, seeks a Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care and patient-centered support. You will perform comprehensive assessments, skilled procedures, and care planning in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate, AZ or Compact RN license, 1 year RN experience, ADN/Diploma or foreign equivalent, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in AZ or Compact state.
• One year RN experience.
• ADN, Diploma, or foreign equivalent required.
• American Heart Association certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, evidence-based cardiovascular ICU nursing care.
• Perform critical assessments and skilled procedures, implementing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN): AZ or Compact license
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma, or foreign equivalent
• American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
