Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift (7pm–7am). This full-time role requires an RN license in Arkansas or a compact state, an associate degree or nursing diploma, and offers a $10K sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include delivering safe, family-centered care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in the CC013160 4E/4H Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. A BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college program, nursing diploma, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing recommended.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a competent level of understanding and application of patient- and family-centered care.
• Provides safe and effective nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Communicates and collaborates via thorough clinical documentation and hand-offs.
• Participates in rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Educates patients and families and documents education activities.
• Pursues evidence-based nursing practice and applies best available evidence to care.
• Mentors and coaches healthcare professionals and students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
