Qualifications
- American Board certification in Critical Care Medicine.
- Texas Medical Licensure (MD) with DEA/DPS.
- Expertise in cardiovascular and critical care medicine.
Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill cardiovascular patients in CVICU, including post-operative care.
- Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, nursing and APPs to deliver patient care.
- Educate medical students, residents, fellows and advanced practice providers rotating through the unit.
