Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group seeks an intensivist Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine for our ICU at Willowbrook Hospital in northwest Houston. The intensivist will deliver high-acuity care to septic, shock, multisystem, and postoperative patients.

Ideal candidates have ventilator and airway management expertise, experience with bronchoscopy and invasive lines, and a focus on teamwork, safety, and education.

Qualifications

• ABIM certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
• Experience managing critically ill patients in an ICU setting.
• Strong commitment to education and mentorship of learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, multidisciplinary critical care in the ICU.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, subspecialists, and ICU staff to coordinate care.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and APPs when applicable.
