Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and presence of appropriate signed informed procedural consent. Identify/review allergies and history of contrast reaction prior to all procedures by reviewing patient records and questioning the patient.
• Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies. Prepares patient and equipment for utilization of sterile technique. After procedure, prepares equipment/supplies for sterilization.
• Participate in the procedural timeout.
• Monitors and records all procedural data and maintains

OVERVIEW

This position will support the Cardiac Cath Lab (CVI) at the Javon Bea Hospital campus. The Cath Lab Technologist will support cardiac procedures by preparing equipment, assisting physicians, and monitoring patients. They will be skilled in maintaining a sterile environment, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and will be a reliable team member in a fast-paced settings, focused on efficient workflow and high-quality care.

Schedule : As needed per department guidelines; 1 weeknight or weekend call shift in 6 week schedule period

Shift : Variable Day Shift Hours

Location : Javon Bea Hospital - Rockford, IL
Pay Range: $32.47 - $48.70
