Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Whitehall, MI seeks a CVD Operator to join the production team on 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts. Responsibilities include loading/unloading castings, furnace maintenance, cleaning, and moving baskets while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload castings from furnaces.
• Disassemble and reassemble furnace components.
• Clean trays and canisters, transport baskets to different locations.
• Replace caustic barrels; climb ladders; follow safety protocols for efficient operations.
