Job summary

Valley School District’s Columbia Virtual Academy (CVA) seeks a CVA Teacher for a 1.0 FTE non-continuing position for the 2026-27 year. The teacher will deliver instruction online and in print, focusing on grades K-8 with one-to-one support for students and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Washington State teaching certificate and endorsements in elementary or middle school areas, plus experience with ALE/remote learning and strong communication skills.

THE POSITION: CVA Teacher – 1.0 FTE Non-Continuing Teacher Position - (K-8 and/or multiple middle school endorsement areas)

The Valley School District's Columbia Virtual Academy (CVA), a Personalized Learning Experience program seeks a teacher endorsed in Elementary Education (K-8) and or endorsed in multiple core middle school areas grades 6-8 (Math, Science, STEM, Language Arts, Social Studies).

Qualified applicants will be prepared to teach and evaluate student learning of critical concepts in subject courses from grades kindergarten through 8th grade. The courses are both online and print-based curriculums. Successful candidates will primarily work one-on-one with students and parents through enhanced technologies remotely.

This is a non-continuing teacher position that will work for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree and a valid Washington State certification.
