Job summary

Mercy in Rogers, AR is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac and electrophysiology setting. You will support the EP team, monitor patient conditions, and ensure equipment is ready for procedures.

-qualified candidates will have AR RN licensure, ACLS/CPR, and at least 3 years of cardiac/EP experience; BSN is preferred but not required. This role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Mercy's collaborative care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arkansas; ACLS and CPR certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of fast-paced cardiac, electrophysiology, and related care experience.
• BSN preferred but not required; relevant clinical experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult populations in a cardiac/EP environment.
• Assist with equipment readiness and procedure room setup for EP procedures.
• Communicate continuously with physicians about patient condition and needs.
• Participate in CQI activities to improve care quality and outcomes.

Job description

Position Details:

• Provides direct patient care to all patient populations; excluding pediatrics.
• Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
• Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition.
• Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab team are met.
• Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Registered Nurse, BSN preferred but not required.
• Licensure: Arkansas Registered Nurse.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years fast paced cardiac, specials, and electrophysiology experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, CPR.
