Job summary

City of Lincoln seeks a Cutter Operator in Peoria, AZ to cut fabric for armor production, using patterns to guide cutting and ensuring accuracy for each piece.

You will spread, mark and cut materials with hand tools, sanders and a bandsaw, stand 8–12 hours, and lift up to 60 lbs while staying organized to support the production team. Reports to the Cutting Manager; full‑time, on‑site position.

Qualifications

• Responsible for spreading, marking and cutting fabric material.
• Organized and can prioritize cutting according to needs of production team.
• Good knowledge or experience using tools such as hand tools, sanders, bandsaw etc.
• Experienced in working with different raw materials: soft fabrics, hard plastics.
• Required to stand for 8-12 hours while operating tools.
• Safely and efficiently handle and move raw materials weighing up to 60lbs to designated areas.
• Construction background preferred
