Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Cutting Manager to lead day-to-day production in a fast-paced plant environment. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while managing frontline staff and coordinating with plant leadership to meet operational goals.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, a strong safety record, and a proven ability to drive process improvements, GMP/food safety compliance, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Oversee frontline employees and coordinate with plant leadership to meet goals.
• Drive continuous improvement, manage schedules, and ensure GMP and SQF/HACCP compliance.
• Identify and resolve process inefficiencies and safety concerns; maintain 5S standards.
